PEACE & RECONCILIATION

The following choral works are founded on texts expressing each author’s personal search for peace and reconciliation. These works include narratives from Rwanda written by survivors of genocide who struggle to find a path to forgiveness; No Puedo by Uruguayan poet Sara de Ibáñez;  and extraordinary poetry by three fourteen-year-olds which reflect through their own spirituality the themes of “mercy,” “peace” and “belief“ in Grant us Peace, a contemporary setting of the Mass.
