How my soul longs for home…for welcoming, warm, grass, earth, green, sounds of country evening,
where I belong, follow by heart, and dream my dreams.
Notes
“Coming Home” was written as a contemporary psalm, a song of the soul. It portrays an inner dialogue about the journey of life and the search for wholeness and peace. The three choral pieces may be performed as separate pieces, or as one complete work.
(I) How my soul longs for home…for welcoming, warm, grass, earth, green, sounds of country evening, where I belong, follow by heart, and dream my dreams,
(II) Before us a road, winding through this precious, troubling world. A homeward way…?
(III) Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young.
